Dr. David Warner (Honorary)
- Born, raised and educated in Central Ohio, David is one of the four founding
board members of the
Stratford
Ecological
Center
, along with his parents, Jack and Louise, and sister, Gale.
He journeyed to the frozen north after graduating from the
Ohio
State
University
Medical
School
in 1983, continuing in the family professional line by completing an
Anesthesiology residency at the Mayo Clinic in
Rochester
,
MN
. He still lives there with his
wife, Julie (also a central Ohio Native), and children Carolyn, Jonathan and
Nathaniel, splitting time between clinical practice and clinical research.
Dr. David Ziv-Kreger (Honorary)
- David Ziv-Kreger has
served on the
Stratford
board since 1992, when he replaced his late wife and founding board member,
Gale Warner. David has a B.S. in
Physics from
Stanford
University
and a M.D. from
Harvard
Medical
School
. In 1989, while working closely
with the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (awardee of
the 1985 Nobel Peace Prize), he and Gale co-founded Golubka, the first
leadership training organization for the emerging not-for-profit sector in the
former Soviet Union. David has more
than two decades of experience in the start-up and development of not-for-profit
initiatives, and currently serves as Director of Development at Ceres, a
Boston-based organization working with large institutional investors to catalyze
companies to address climate change and move toward sustainability.
David has remarried and has 2 children; the family resides in
Lincoln
,
MA
.
