Welcome to Stratford Ecological Center

Stratford sign The Stratford Ecological Center is a non-profit educational organic farm and nature preserve on 236 acres in Delaware County, Ohio. Visitors are welcome to explore the land, hike the 4 miles of nature tails, visit the livestock, tour the gardens and greenhouses or explore the creek, pond, prairie, swamps or State Nature Preserve. Farm products are available for sale seasonally, based on availability.

Stratford offers workshops and classes for children and adults, annual festivals, farm tours, school tours, farm camp and family programs. Happy New Year

Build a Blue Bird Nest BoxBlue Bird Box

February 5th, 7pm to 8:30pm


Invite Eastern Bluebirds and other cavity-nesting native birds to your yard or field by building a nest box in which to raise their family. Dick Tuttle will lead participants through an after-supper workshop. Whether single, or with your family, there is no age limit for this fun activity!

Maple Sugar Guides! If you want to learn about how maple syrup is made, love nature, have a desire to teach and work with children and adults, this is an opportunity you may not want to pass up! Training: Wednesday, February 11th from 10am-1pm.

Messages from the Earth Guides! A hands-on program focused on science for 5th grade classes. Training: Feb 9,10 and 11.
